Description The Align Tactical® THUMB REST TRIGGER PIN integrates an ergonomic ledge for the support hand’s thumb to firmly lock down against, serving as a brake against muzzle flip to provide the fastest follow-up sight picture. Increased surface contact with the pistol reduces support hand slippage while providing an index point for a consistent high thumbs-forward grip. Secure Design The Thumb Rest Trigger Pin utilizes a patent-pending forked design that leverages the disassembly channel’s (opening) as an insertion point for accepting an anti-rotation stop. Pushing the trigger pin partially out (from an UNLOADED PISTOL), allows the anti-rotation stop to clear the disassembly channel so the slide lock can be pulled down for normal disassembly. Compatibility We’ve enhanced the line to reflect the following dedicated products. There are two features that determine compatibility, with the first being the aforementioned Trigger Pin Groove (DEPTH), and the second being the (DISTANCE) between the trigger pin to the slide lock disassembly channel. Legacy GEN 1-4 COMPACT models & Current GEN 5 (including all models that utilize an ambidextrous slide stop) share the “SHORT” distance, while differing in groove depth. Legacy GEN 1-4 STANDARD & COMPETITION models uniquely use the “LONG” distance. • GEN 5/6 is compatible with GLOCK® GEN 5 / NEW GLOCK® GEN 6 / V-marked and current ambidextrous slide stop models (17,17L,19,19X,20,21,22,23,26,27,29,34,44,45,47,49).
