This ink was the first Lamy ink that I was disappointed by. Calling this ink red might be a bit misleading. This ink has very low saturation and the colour is closer to salmon (a sort of pinkish-red). If you are looking for a lower saturation red ink, then this ink is fine – but I prefer darker, more saturated inks. The ink is also on the dry side and has very average flow and lubrication. On the good side: this ink has a very noticeable yellow/gold sheen that I enjoyed.
